Are cameras the new guns?
Did you know that you could be arrested in some states for pointing cameras at police? How? By “violating” wiretapping laws. Seriously. Gizmodo looks at the new tyranny as does the Maine Civil Liberties Union. Checks and balances against tyranny are supposed to separate us in Western-style democracy from China, so we don’t have our own Tiananmen Square.
